Care Instructions

The first thing to remember is that all silver products with a rating of .925 require less attention than products with a rating of .950. Here at Cove Jewellery all our silver collection pieces are rated .925. No matter how valuable your jewelery collection is - taking good care will prolong their lifespan!

When and Where NOT to wear your silver pieces:

Swimming pools - Chlorine will generaly have negative impact on your silver pieces. If you forget to take them off, make sure you give it a good rinse after!
Hot tubs - Sometimes can have a bigger impact than a swimming pool. There is more chlorine and the heat will accelarate the chemical reaction.
Hot springs - Sulfur is your biggest enemy here, avoid prolonged contact at all costs!
Shower - Not the best idea to have a shower with your jewelery on, however if you do - just make sure you dry it properly afterwards.
Applying beauty products - If you are applying beauty products, try not to wear your silver during the application process. Apply your products before and then put on the silver pieces you intend to wear.
